Lucky did all 3 of Stephie's tattoos.  She is extremely happy with them and with the service.  They make you feel very comfortable and will direct you appropriately.  Ex: "Do you want it to get fucked up?  Stop laughing!"  and "Stop crying.  You're scaring away customers!"

I have to agree with my BFF down there....Ive had several of my pieces done here by Van as well as others and they are all in good shape as of this far.  If you re looking for a classic "penitentiary style" black and Grey scale, they rock. A friend of mine gets his tattoos done by Van.  Myself and 2 others have gone there to get tattoos.  The guys are nice and their artwork is awesome.  I went in with a design that I sketched and they turned it out.  I have a pic of it on my profile. I also designed one for my sister, and Lucky did a great job in capturing what I sketched and what she wanted. a man by the name of Van did my piercing- he's very funny and very informative. it took a quick second for my piercing to go through.. i walked out VERY happy and the prices aren't that bad either!! Lucky Van's Tattoo is the best tattoo studio in Frisco. The shop is brand new and CLEAN. Van did my first tattoo a year ago at another place. I was ready for my second tattoo. He opened his own shop. The art work follows the artist not the shop. I was surprised to see how his shop looked. It's totally modern. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Once I walked in the door Van knew me by face. He also remembered the work he did on me without needing to be reminded. He made me feel like a valued client. The shop is a friendly  place to visit. The customers waiting converse with each other and compare tattoos. Van can draw anything you ask him. He can take a picture you bring in look even better when he draws them free hand and adds his personal touch. I'm a fan of his art work.

My sister and I went to Lucky Van's Tattoo to see Van. This was my first tattoo and my sister's 4th one. Van is a great artist. I love the work he's done on my sister. She wouldn't have me get my tat anywhere else. I was nervous for it being my first time. Van made me laugh and made me feel comfortable. His shop is very sanitary so I wasn't worried at all. I've been to other shops researching and Lucky Van's is the cleanest I've seen. I love my tattoo. I told Van what I was looking for and he made it better than what I imagined. Wow! These are some kick a** tattooers. The shop is a cool spot. The artists there are cool. They all down to earth. Their prices are cheap for great work. I went there with my girl and we both got tatted up. The wait wasn't long. There was a line but they fast as hell. It just shows that they're good. While my girl and I were getting worked on, the tattooers were making us crack up the whole time. It was a great time. More than what I expected from a tattoo shop. They good people. Came here for my first ink ever. I've been wanting one for a while, but I didn't want to just go in to any shop. This place was recommended by a couple of my coworkers. So on a Friday after work, I walked right in. There were a few other customers getting theirs done, so I sat tight and waited for mine. They seemed to get through them fairly quickly. The place was clean and sanitary. Being my first, I was nervous but Van was quick, professional, and made me feel comfortable. It didn't hurt as much as I thought it would...which is a plus in my book.

Lucky Van's Tattoo Shop is a professional and clean shop. I've been getting tattooed by Van for years and he has worked on pieces that I'm very happy with. The artists are all talented and take their time to help assist all their clients to make sure that they love their tattoos. The shop is in decent location.  So it is pretty easy to find. I finally did it! I got my first tattoo. I couldn't believe it. I asked friends & family where I should go and everyone told me to see Van or Lucky. It seems like everyone has gotten their tattoos from them. So I've seen their work and knew that they were the ones to go to and have my done right.

So I went to Lucky Van's Tattoo in the Mission and Van helped me out. I instantly felt that I made the right decision. Van talked me through the whole process and help me figure out what I wanted to get done. I told him that I wanted dragons with my kids initials on my lower back. He drew a design right in front of me while I was trying to describe my vision. It was perfect! You can see from my profile picture how it turned out. I love it. While I was getting my tattoo done, staff and the other customers were telling jokes. I agree with the other posted reviews. They do crack jokes the whole time. It was a blast being there. Even though I went to the shop on my own, I didn't feel like I was alone. Van made me feel like an old friend.

The shop is clean and looks really nice. I liked the other people that work there too. They were all friendly. They even have customers playing with the Xbox while they wait for their turn on the chair. How cool is that?

This tattoo shop is amazing! I came here with my girlfriend and my sister. We all got tattoos. The artist that helped me was Jay. He was friendly and listened to what I had to say and understood what I wanted to get done. Like Jay said "It's my body and I know what I want on it." Before coming here we visited 2 other tattoo shops and they were rude and didn't give us the attention that we got at Lucky Van's. Jay got the concept of what I was looking for and drew a great picture of a tribute to my family. My tattoo rocks!

This place just opened up in the summer. I was told by customers waiting in line that the artists there have been doing this for years and branched off on their own. I was told that they're the best. I believe that now.

The condition on this shop is clean, clean, clean. The other Yelp members are not kidding. I read their website before visiting the shop and it's true. They do care about both parties health. They're very sanitary.

This shop is on Mission street and the parking is not bad at all. There's lots of parking in the neighborhood and it's free.

The staff is very funny. The customers and the staff interact with each other as if they're all friends. I only see that at bars. A lot of adult jokes are said so be ready. We had a great time and will be back soon.
